Good for weak hands

By Jesse Brown

from Pennsylvania

Comments about D'Addario EJ32 Folk Nylon Silver/Ball End Black Treble Guitar Strings:

My hands aren't as strong as they used to be, so I started looking for strings with low tension that would let me more easily play bar chords and such. These work great for me and the tone seems to better compliment my vocals in comparison to the more brash sounding steel strings. The only thing is it looks like the basses will wear out rather quickly as I can already see fret marks on them after maybe a week. Also, be aware that the trebles in particular will stretch quite a bit (probably true for any nylon string) so keep that in mind when you start stringing them up and don't leave as much slack. The sound from the trebles seems weak on my Ovation, so if you like brighter highs that may be something to consider.
