First of all it's small because of its design, which makes it really easy to take it places. However I think I like the capos with the handle better. This one has a great sound, no string buzzing or anything but it does take significantly longer to take on and off then a handled capo would. But really that's the only con, otherwise a great capo for anyone in need of one.
This capo has quite a different appearance than some of the more traditional capos. For starters, there is not a handle or trigger that you simply grab to remove or replace, and that is what made me skeptical in the first place. But let me assure you, this capo gets the job done as good or even better than some of the other capos! Design: This capo has a plus in this area, because it is small, light, and easily slips into pockets and such. As mentioned above, it doesn't have the fancy triggers or "quick-release", but it does have a tension adjustment knob, so you are always in-tune without buzzing at the frets. Functionality: This capo holds up strong. After some practice, you can easily move the capo to different frets, and when you're not using it, you can just slide it up the strings and over the nut onto the headstock. I give this product 4 stars because it will take a while to get use to, but it is well worth it! Looks: The sleek black design goes with just about any guitar and looks great. Thats it. Just solid black capo. What more do you want? Or need, for that matter. If you are not interested in a partial-capo, then go for the full one! It doesn't cost much more and it has all the same features and quality as this one does! I myself have had the full one for half a year and use it just about every day, with no problems whatsoever. Overall, I recommend you buy this product!
