It employs a sleek, ultra-light design for fast and accurate one hand positioning on the guitar's neck. Just turn the smooth, tactile dial to eliminate the string buzzing and enjoy perfect, in-tune performance. Lightweight aluminum adds virtually no weight to the guitar's neck when in use.

I had used Kyser capos for years. Then I heard from my tech that the Kyser's unbalanced pressure was partly why I was having intonation issues up the neck, and also why my frets were wearing down way too fast. So, a new guitar later, I made a change. This capo is great in that it allows you to adjust the tension to just enough for what you need. No excessive pressure, which is bad for your frets. And it keeps the tuning solid up the neck. It's not as quick and easy to use as the Kyser, but the tonal and tuning improvements are incredible, and the fact that it helps save the lifespan of your frets is a big deal.
I just tried it today and i can say its the best capo ive ever used. granted i only used a clamp style one before and this one was smaller looked better, and best of all it didnt need a lot of pressure on the neck to produce the desired results as opposed to the other one i tried. when i use this capo im not afraid of damaging my dean razorback at all. it has a great feel, a great look. and it produces a great sound everytime without having to alter your string tensions
Purchased my Planet Waves capo after I broke my Kyro capo during a live performance. I didn't want that to happen again. I like the operation of this capo because it holds all strings with proper pressure, and good tune-age.. Go out and buy one you will like it for the value, it's a great product. Happy Chords,
After extensively reading reviews pertaining to this and other capos, I decided to give this one a try because of its simple aesthetics and pressure sensitivity. This is a PHENOMENAL capo. It takes the prize for me over traditional quick clamp capos because it is pressure sensitive. You will be surprised with this capo to discover how much less pressure it takes to get the same result as a clamp. Tuning is clean because there isn't any extra force and so it is a win-win. A common complaint was the lack of ability to clamp it to the head of the guitar, my solution there is to clamp it over the strings VERY LIGHTLY behind the nut. Then there is not enough pressure to affect the guitar but it stays in place. This capo is small and unobtrusive which is the best part-- and better yet- unlike clamp capos that you have to stretch wide open to barely fit them over the strings, this one opens up wide enough that you can put it on without touching, and then as you tighten, it only applies downward force as opposed to stretching your stings out of place sideways on the fret board. Its build is very solid. And as my mother pointed out, you can hardly even notice it on the guitar (mine is the black model)
This is the best capo i've ever used! It keeps the guitar in tune perfectly when i put it on - i've never needed to adjust any of the strings. Easy to use and works great!
