The Planet Waves Gold-Plated 1/4" Angled - Straight Instrument Cable has near-perfect frequency response, double-insulated/double-shield coverage, and the low triboelectric (handling noise) of any cables on the market. The Planet Waves plug is soldered, covered with an internal copper shield tube, and then over-molded, first with a rigid PVC to encapsulate the solder joints, and then with a flexible polymer for unprecedented strain relief. This virtually indestructible construction is so tough, so durable, that Planet Waves Gold-Plated Instrument Cable carries a limited lifetime warranty.

If you are looking for a great sounding and quality cable look no further. I think if these break easily, they mst have been a bad one outta the bunch. You are paying $3 per foot of cable, so you'd imagine these are pretty good. Much better than those Live Wire cables. I get no buzz at all, and I recommend them to my buddies who need good cables.
It took only two months for this cable to break. I took great care of it and made sure to wrap it up properly (something i haven't done with previous cables), and it broke unexpectedly during a bass lesson. I am currently in the process of getting a replacement, but would recommend buying another cable if you want to avoid the hassle.
I have several of these and I will not use any other brand. The Planet Waves are reliable, sturdy and just good stuff! A few years ago I had one that I thought was making some noise and they replaced it on the spot, no questions asked. Gooood Stuff!
I didn't really tink that cables made that much of a difference, but I was wrong. As soon as I plugged in this cable, the sound was much clearer and louder than it was with other cable. I was so happy with this cable that I went out and got a few more of them.
I've been using this cables for about a year, they are still as good as new, they are really durable. The little cable tie is really useful, cuz it keeps your cable rolled to its natural shape, so it won't get damaged. If you want a great, reliable cable, go and buy a Planet Waves.
First of all, Planet Waves makes the best cables money can buy. Forget Monster, they are a joke. These cables reduce noise, and securely stay in your instrument, amp, or whatever, These cables come with a nice little tie as well so you can wrap them up and keep them neat. Do youself a favor and pick one of these up.
I own two 10' lengths of Planet Waves Gold-Plated 1/4" Angled - Straight Instrument Cable (Item #PW-GRA-10), and will no longer use any other brand of cable. These cables are durable, provide a great connection to your equipment, and the right angle plug for your instrument is very convenient. The gold-plated connections also guard against the corrosion that other metals are prone to, and the double-insulated/double-shielded cables stop hum and triboelectric noise dead in their tracks! Planet Waves cables are plugged into a total of twenty 1/4" jacks in my total setup, and they deliver an awesome signal! Planet Waves guarantees all of its cables for life, and they're built to last a lifetime! These cables are well-worth the investment!
