The patented Planet Waves Dual-Action Capo is not your ordinary trigger-type capo. Compound action reduces the force necessary to open and close the capo. It also eliminates side-pulling the strings out of tune, which is prevalent on other trigger-type capos. Aircraft-quality aluminum construction adds virtually no weight to the guitar's neck when in use and the capo can be clamped on the headstock when idle. Simply adjust the tactile micrometer tension control so there is just enough tension to eliminate string buzzing and enjoy repeatable, in-tune performance at every fret.

You'll throw out all your old capos after you clamp this baby onto your fretboard. I found this capo to fully Rock On !!! You might pay a little more compared to other capos , but once you try this one , I promise you won't mind the couple extra dollars. Keeps a perfect tune on both electric or acoustic guitars. Very light-weight , just clip it to your headstock when not in use. The dual-action allows you to customize it to fit on any guitar you wish to Rock Out on!!!!!

I got this capo three weeks ago and the screw that the spring is on snapped. So I went back and got it exchanged, and the one that I just got snapped in the same spot as the last one, the second time that I put it onto my guitar. Sure it's a nice looking capo, but it just isn't practical. Very poor design, I don't recommend purchasing this capo.

My friend has been playing guitar for 50 years. He asked for a capo for christmas. i looked at the reviews and he says that this is better than the capo that he used to have. It has one-hand action and it doesn't get the guitar out of tune. Exactly like the description said. It was shipped free and came on time. He told me what he wanted the Monday just before christmas. i'm extremely pleased with the ease and the specifications of ordering. And of course, free and 2 day shipping.
I have been performing professionally for more than 30 years. Capos have always been a source of frustration for me. This is the first capo I've owned that I don't have to fuss with when I put it on the guitar. It doesn't pull the strings out of tune or make them buzz. Its quick and easy to use.
This capo has been awesome ever since I took it out of the box. I got it three weeks ago and it has done nothing but help the sound. I know someone who has played guitar for thirty years and uses this capo. It is great for any experience level in guitar.
My Grandmother has horrible arthritis and couldn't even open my Kyser. This Capo is THE best i've ever had. its easy to use. its quick. it doesn't get in the way as much as other capos do. And it even looks awesome! My step fathers 42 and has been playing all his life and he said its one of the coolest he's ever seen, easiest to use, and that he's gonna get one now. I'd recommend this to anybody. its absolutely worth the extra couple bucks.
I got this capo a few days ago, and I really like it. It's my first capo, and it's really easy to use and change. It gives minimal buzzing, in fact i haven't noticed any so far. Overall, I really like it and like the sound it gives off.
I own 7 capos and am constantly in search of the newest and best because they all have their flaws. This one has the least of anything I have used including Shuub, Kayser and G7. I use it on my Santa Cruz and Yamaha acoustics and my Ibanez hollowbody electric with the same great results. Does not crunch the strings yet is easy to take off and put on. Somebody actually thought about this one and built a great capo.
I find that this is one of the best capos I have used. (even though my friend is the one who owns it) it doesn't work on my 5th string while on the 7th fret of my classical (nylon). I have to angle it just right before it stops buzzing. but even then, it's not pressing down enough for a good sound. though I don't mind. it's still a really good capo
I've had this over a year now and use it regularly on my Taylor at church. Seems everything is keyed in Eb or Bb, so you need to make use of the capo to get into a more comfortable key. On a typical Sunday, I am putting in on and off several times. Once you adjust the tension, you are set to go. I've never had any issues with needing to adjust it unless I use it on my Strat, which has a thinner neck, so you have to close it up a bit. I have a Shubb on my Martin and that has to be just right (also a very good capo), but I could never change it as quickly and quietly as the Planet Waves capo. The padding protects the neck, yet provides a firm grip. It is well made and I believe it will last years.
this capo really does work, i got it around 3 months ago and the only thing i really have to do is tighten the spring like once every three weeks.good capo for beginners and advanced.it also dosnt scratch the neck of my guitar like other ones.
Last Saturday I asked my guitar teacher, Jimmy, what the best capo would be for my guitar and he recommended this exact capo. He even uses it himself and as soon as I put it on my guitar and started playing, I noticed a huge change in sound. The pitch was automatically altered for the better and has allowed me to play songs that I couldn't play before because I didn't have a capo. I definitely recommend this to every guitarist out there.
