  • A bit disappointed...

    Strap buttons are strap buttons, right? I was sent 24 strap buttons of decent quality. So what am I complaining about? Well, the ones I was sent are a very different shape and sheen from what is pictured on the order page and what I thought I was getting. Probably 99% of the time that would make no difference, but in this case I wanted them for a special project for which I was willing to order 24 only needing 4 of them in order to get the right "look" - the ones sent are fully "functional" but have a "sore thumb" aspect to them, at least for this project, to my eye (chrome shiny and sharply squared off, compared to the rounded brushed aluminum look of what is pictured.) To be fair, GC would have allowed me to return them for refund, but I needed to finish the project. This is, I suppose, the downside of an internet purchase - you lose the "what you see is what you get" of over-the-counter shopping.
