  • My favorite pick

As reviewed by RipThorn on 9/11/2006

I have played lots of different kinds of picks and these are my favorites. They feel weird the first time, but then they grow on you. The sharper tip is great for fast playing, the flatter tip is great for acoustic guitars, and the little bumps can create a cool chorus effect. They wear well and they last a long time. Combine that with a great attack and you have one fantastic pick.

  • 390 Sharkfins

As reviewed by prlndr1 on 8/15/2007

I have used this PICK exclusively since 1998 when I accidently got one thrown in my bag at the counter. I have only played the Green, Yellow, and Orange (Orange being the lighter off these - and my favorite). Grip is excellent, it travels well in your pocket or wallet, and the three different tips are awsome for diversity, on accoustic guitars: three different tones can be produced.

  • Hidden Magic

As reviewed by waynados on 7/11/2009

Have not seen anyone else but me running "S" fins in the last 10yrs..whats up with that, yes they appear weird and strange to play at first but when one uses the serated edge it gives you a bright bite combined with a semi rhythm pluck fused with a manuel chorus sound.Great on acoustic guitars with dead strings but way more effective on a good gat with new broken in strings.Have developed my own unique signature strum sequences with the fin & dont use any other type of pick unless I have too.. the yellow .73mm is my weapon of choice as its great at parties if if you drop them they are easier to find in the dark.I find they do wear and after one night of going hard playin guitar I find I can usually wear off 2 serated edges but its worth it and finally thank god for the internet as these picks are nowhere to be found in Vancouver.B.C so will order myself an "S" load an let the parties roll on into the nights this summer!I always give away sharkfin picks to other guitarist to explore the possible benefits an develope ones sound perhaps maybe thats why I always run out so to all you gat poeple out there "stay nimble" I hope my humble words are of use to someone.
