These strings are perfect- they stay in tune, sound great and are damn cheap at that. I usually put them on a P-bass, but I think they sound better on my Aria. Come to think of it, they'll sound good on any bass. Definatly worth using.

  • Nice, bright and punchy.

As reviewed by Craig on 1/23/2010

I like the sound of nice, bright, punchy strings and these strings have that sound. They aren't too noisy either while moving your fingers up along the frets either, no noisier than any other high quality round wound bass string I've used. Two tries to tune the bass after initial stringing and they're set. Unless you really abuse your strings like I do, because I usually go through a set after a month, these string should last you for a pretty good length of time. I'll let you know how well they hold up in a few weeks, but for now, I only got to tune them at the beginning, then at mid session and that 's it until tomorrow. But like I said, I really beat the living stuffin' out of strings. I had recently purchased Musicians Gear Bass Strings 45-65-85-105 just to try them out. Let me tell ya bout these strings, after they've been broken in, wow, they're nice strings for the price and they are taking a beating, believe me. Thanks for reading. Hope my review was helpful.
