  • Bigger sound

    Many of us love 10-46 guage strings. Some of us know that heavier strings would give a bigger sound. A few of us have tried 11s and didn't think the difference was worth the discomfort. These strings are between 10 and 11, and I barely noticed a difference in the feel. But I did notice a difference in the sound. Not a huge difference, but great tone comes from 2 dozen small gains. I am using these exclusively now.

  • Unique hybrid size

    I have been using .010's on my Fenders for years, but felt that they aren't strong enough for my Gibsons (339 and LP). These strings helped me bridge the gap between .010's and .011's. The difference is that the 1st, 2nd and 6th strings are slightly thinner than what you get in a pack of .011's. Solid tone - not too bright, not too dark. Very even wear. Now if only they came in a 3-pack...

  • Excellent tone

    I have been playing D'Addario strings exclusively for the last 10+ years. I've preferred them because they have a nice, warm tone and stay in tune. I use .010s for all my Fender guitars, but the .010s felt just a little too light on my ES-339 and Les Paul Traditional. I didn't want to lose bendability by going to .011s, but I found these while trolling on this website. I find these to be absolutely perfect. They add a warmth and depth that was missing and fill out my sound. I would recommend these to any player with a strong hand OR to a player looking to build fretting strength.
