Pro performance under the most demanding conditions.

If you want to maintain eye contact and really play while you sing, the Crown CM-311A Headset Microphone is for you. Electret condenser capsule provides full, clear, distortion-free sound. Gain-before-feedback and isolation are exceptional. Lightweight, rugged, and comfortable, the headband and mic boom are adjustable for any vocalist. Includes a battery/phantom power beltpack.

Designed for touring and live-sound applications, the Crown CM-311A is a rugged head-worn microphone with unequalled performance. It sounds like the best handheld microphones-full, clear, and distortion-free, even with the loudest singers.

The CM-311A is the latest version of the Crown's proprietary Differoid technology. Its cardioid pickup pattern rejects sounds from the rear, such as floor monitors. Its noise-canceling ability rejects sounds at a distance, such as instruments on stage and crowd noise. This results in the CM-311A having outstanding gain-before-feedback and isolation.

Designed for touring and live-sound applications, the Crown CM-311A is a rugged head-worn microphone with unequalled performance. It sounds like the best handheld microphones-full, clear, and distortion-free, even with the loudest singers.

Lightweight and comfortable, the mic's headband and boom adjust to fit any singer. An included pop filter greatly reduces breath noise and pops. Because of the boom's unique behind-the-ear design, it does not cover up the singer's face.

The CM-311A is powered by a 9V battery or phantom power. It has a battery belt pack with an on/off switch, a programmable mic on/off switch, and a "Mic On" LED.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

Jury still out

Got the Crown CM-311A about 4 months ago. Big improvement over prior starter mic, esp volume. 1st problem was have to take apart unit with screwdriver to change on/off settings, and doesn't go back together easily/battery compartment easily blocked. Once fixed, sound quality was good, excellent volume/output, no bleed from amps thanks to noise-cancel. But a bit muzzy sounding. I figured it was poor positioning, but sound kept getting fuzzier, volume dropped. Sent back to Guitar Center, told the turnaround is 2 - 4 weeks, so I'll update when I get it back.

Drummer seeking new microphone

When it came time to upgrade my mic, the only requirement that I had from the our sound guys is that it needed to be as good or better than the standard, Shure SM-58. As a drummer I really wanted the freedom from the boom stand. I got found it all in the Crown CM-311A. After bending and fitting to my head, for the initial set up, it stays in place. It also stays out of the way for my in-ear-monitors. I was lucky enough to be able to test drive the few head sets in the store. Some were too chunky, some, were obviously made for speaking events. The CM-311A seemed to fit the bill. I ordered the Crown sight-unseen, and am very happy with performance of this product.
