We bought this for our four year old daughter to learn on. She is taking lessons at a pretty well known music school. Her instructor was amazed at the tone coming from this tiny violin. She is now recomending this to all her students. I am glad we decided to buys this product. I did a lot of research before buying this and I felt that for the money it would work just fine. I was pleasantly suprised when we actually played it. I am not a violinist but my father has played for years and he thought it was great as well. At first it wouldn't stay in tune but I pushed the tuning pegs in tight and it has just needs minor adjusting here and there. Over all great buy.

Got this for my first violin, it needed a new bridge, new strings, and to be repegged plus the soundpost was glued in, which says a lot about the quality, you get what you pay for if you consider that this is the cheapest working violin that I know of, and frankly most good violins are at least around 200 usd

Comments about Cremona SV-75 Premier Novice Series Violin Outfit:

As a music teacher, I bought this instrument as a fractional-size "starter" instrument for one of my students. It's gone beyond my expectations for it's price range. It's a solid instrument that shows all the trademarks of a "real" violin with correct set up: even joints and seams, correctly angled neck, properly aligned fingerboard, smooth and even paint job on the fingerboard, purfling looks inlaid, carved bridge, and correct set up between the fingerboard, nut and bridge to prevent buzzing. It produces a nice sound appropriate for a 1st year student learning to play classical music.

Comments about Cremona SV-75 Premier Novice Series Violin Outfit:

My school ordered many of these for our beginner strings program. They were not my first choice, but I was surprised by the quality of the instruments that we received and now I prefer these to the instruments that were my original first choice. The tuning pegs are easy to adjust and they stay in tune. They don't slip as badly as many other "student violins". Once they have been played a few times, they stay in tune pretty well. Not sure if I would recommend this for a a professional violinist, but for a beginner this is a great choice. I will order these again.

Tuned it, plucked the strings for 1 lesson and put it back in the case. If you have a child and want to see if they're serious about the violin before investing money, this violin is perfect!! If you're serious about violin, get something else.

              Birthday Gift for my 9yo.

Comments about Cremona SV-75 Premier Novice Series Violin Outfit:

I got this for my 9 yo for her birthday, thank goodness it arrived day of her birthday. That was a plus. We opened it, the violin is a nice Cremona SV-75 1/4, honestly feels somewhat like a child's toy, so guess you could say a great beginner. Not sure the price is worth this purchase especially when they shorted us our extra set of strings and the Bow is made of hair like strands so this will not last long. Definitely recommend replacing the bow. All in all, ya get what ya pay for. If its for your kiddos just learning, this would be a good violin, just shop around and do some pricing first before you purchase.
