  • Spider Capo

    The Spider Capo is very easy to use and a fun tool for creating a simple way to accompany your own melody line. I use it on my classical guitar and it works great! I haven't tried it on my acoustic guitar yet, but I am not worried because it adjusts so easily.

  • My "Spin" on the Spider Capo

    I have owned the "Third Hand Capo" for years now and it has worked very well for me but the Spider Capo intrigued me with its design. I have had it for about a month now and find that the way it mounts on the neck requires little or no tuning adjustment compared to the Third Hand. I also find the "fingers" on the Spider are cool as you can engage or disengage individual strings while playing. The product seems to be constructed and thought out very well. I was a bit concerned about the potential damage to the neck of my Taylor 514CE the way it clamps from side to side but after using it, those fears are gone. I look forward to all the possibilities using the Spider Capo.

  • Cool product one irritating flaw

    I have seen this on GCs website for a while now and finally decided to buy. I've broken so many strings tuning in and out of odd tunings that I figured this would be a good deal. Honestly, Creative Tunings could do a lot better for $30 bucks. I love the creativity and sound that I can make with this, but after a few days I noticed something very irritating. On both of my guitars, when fully engaged on any string at any fret, the fingers press down on the string so hard that the pitch changes ever so slightly, but enough to notice. You either have to raise the whole capo off the fingerboard by a mm or 2 or not turn the finger all the way. Had this been a 10-15 dollar capo, I would not have been disappointed but for the price I paid, I expect it to work as directed.
