I love this book. I have been looking for a book on the actual Ventures tabulature for their music. The tabs are right on the money. I am a beginner but I can easily follow the tabs. I listen to the actual Ventures music to get the right beat and rhythm. They should come out with other books with more Venture tunes. They should add the bass tabs and the rhythm strumming beats. If you love the Ventures and/or guitar rock band music, this book is for you.
Though they never intended it, the Ventures became the sound of "surf music" After many years of learning their songs "note by note" Was a pleasure to finally find a book that had all my favorite Venture tunes in a format that allowed me to sound just like the original.Well almost, but that's me not the book.
