This is a great amp for a begginer to intermidiate guitar player, many options and effects to explore. An all around great amp for small gigs and home practice, plenty of power! **** four out of five stars!
The Crate FXT 30 watt amp is great for beginners. It has 16 different effects built into it. They kind of get washed out when the amp is turned up to ten( which is pretty loud), but if you're a beginner I dought that you need to turn it up that loud. This was my first amp and it did its purpose for over a year(untill I could get something bigger) and even held up at little gigs. its still my practice amp. Perfect for beginners.
I recently recieved this amp for my birthday, and I love it. I have another crate and I have compared the quality of two. The older one that I have has major feedback and this one is so much better. Great sound, great effects, great amp.
Hey this is a great little amp to have around the house. It is also good for some small gigs too. The efects on it are just awesome. I love messin' around with the cool octive sound efect and the reverb. You will love this amp I have had it for two years and haven't had one problem with it. It is very reliable. I Love It!!!
the thing i like about this amp is its effects. It has one of the coolest effects i have ever heard on it. its flange, delay, and reverb and it makes such a cool sound. it tons of other great effects too. I almost bought it. but id rather have a half stack. This would be a great amp to have for foolin around at home. I still might get it some time. But its pricey for a 30 watt amp.
I just got this amp today from guitar center. It's a great amp to use at home for practice and a great deal too. A lot of noise comes from this little guy, has great affects, and is portable.
This is a good amp. it has good effects and stuff, and its worth the price. the only problem with it is that the effects aren't customizable at all. you can only control how loud they are. so if you're looking for good effects, you would have to get an external pedal or something.
I've had mine for almost a year. I play electrified a couple times a month and practice a lot in between. This is a great amp for small clubs and practicing at home. The only thing I'd recommend is to by the optional footswitch for easier control.
My bro got this amp a long time ago, he stoped using it so i picked it up i noticed its heaviest distortion has a very dark unique sound, thats the best part about it. It is definately a great begginers amp, but i would recommend when u hit a year or so get a new one. It picks up alot of minor problems, But is great for finding your sound.
