The Crate CA120DG Durango 120W Acoustic Amp with DSP delivers a thunderous 120W power through a special-design 12" speaker. The Durango Amplifier operates with 2 stacked channels offering XLR and 1/4" input jacks and access to DSP effects, RCA inputs with level control, and an XLR and 1/4" out section with ground lift and level control. Footswitchable automatic feedback elimination circuit places a 20Hz wide, 15dB notch at the point of an offending frequency.

  • Mandolin players take note.

    If you are looking for accurate, full range acoustic reproduction and useful effects, this is the one. The 12" woofer really brings out the tone of a mandolin as well as that of an acoustic guitar much better than two 8" woofers. The adjustable tweeter allows you to tame some of the harshness often experienced while playing a mandolin through an amp. The RCA input jacks and footswitch controlled feedback filters are also very useful features. I've tried the Fender Acoustasonic Jr. and the Marshall AS50D and neither comes close to the sound of the Crate Ca120DG especially with a mandolin. I play a Michael Kelly Legacy FSE and a Martin D-16GT through this amp with excellent results.

    Purchased this amp new and i am very satisfied with it's performance. I have uesed peavy's fenders and played through various PA's but by far this amp blows them all away. At 120 watts it has more than enough punch for any venue. The 12" woofer puts out a nice clean rich base coupled with the tweeter (a bit too brite at it.s highest setting) allows for a wide range of tones with various instruments. The auto feedback controls work as well or better than any notch filters or eq's i have ever used. Special effects are above average, the ability to program 2 effects via the foot pedal is a nice touch. Overall the best acoustic amp I have played on. to be picky the amp is a tad heavy but it is solidly built.It will not disapoint.
