Comments about Cortex MIX-R1U 2-Channel DJ Mixer:
I bought this unit because I needed a way to free up my channels on my mixer board and not take up too much space. I wanted a way to play intermission music between sets when I press in the ۡ̏mute all channelsۡݕ_ on my board. I used this (with some adapters) to send audio to my RCA inputs of my board. One good thing is by using the DJ Mixer, I still have tone control along with a few audio player options that just the RCAۡs on my board didnۡt have. The thing I like most about the unit is it only took up 1U in my 4U DJ box. My DJ BOX consists of a 2U CD player along with a 1U AM/FM radio, and now the Cortex Mixer. I just have a cord coming from the back of the Cortex for the I-Pod that I use also. Now I can mute all the channels from any unwanted and unattended feedback. And while doing so, play any kind of intermission music or the local game thatۡs broadcasting with the radio that I want during a gig.
