Overview

The Requinto half-size guitar has solid Canadian red cedar top with five-fan Torres style bracing for a rich tone. The back and sides are made from African mahogany and the fingerboard is rosewood. The Requinto has a comfortable neck with low action, making it fun and easy to play. It is designed to produce a full Spanish sound with rapid response in the Southern Spanish style in spite of its diminutive string length. It is ideal for children from five to 10 years old. Priced to compete with assembly line guitars, this handmade instrument offers players an increased level of quality and tone not commonly found in this price range.

Cordoba 1/2 Great

Comments about Cordoba Half-Size Requinto Classical Guitar:

Small guitar with the sound you need to do leads for those spanish mexican boleros and flamengos. If you looking for a requinto try this one for size. It is also a great start guitar for a small child. It so good that I will order a second one as a spare. One problem I have found is that if you leave it tune to the A, D, G, c, e,a, the one string will break. Un-tune before putting up.
