The F7 Paco offers a unique departure from traditional flamenco guitar tonewoods. In honor of Paco De Lucia' untimely passing in 2014, Cordoba' F7 Paco is inspired by several well-known instruments that were mainstays in the legendary guitarist' collection. With its solid Canadian cedar top and Indian rosewood back and sides, the F7 Paco has a fuller, darker, less biting tone than the standard F7. Built in the Spanish tradition, it is incredibly lightweight, with a slightly thinner body depth than a classical guitar. A high gloss finish, maple binding, clear Spanish golpeador, and a deluxe Cordoba gig bag complete Cordoba' homage to a flamenco great.

Comments about Cordoba F7 Paco Flamenco Nylon String Guitar:

I've been playing Flamenco for a while now, and I've switched around guitars throughout the years, jumping from classical C5, to the mildly expensive GK Studio Flamenco, to the Yamaha CG172, and I discovered this beauty. Even if you have a standard blanca Flamenco guitar with low action, it doesn't compare to the action on this guitar, picados are almost like nothing when you give it a go. Strumming has a dark passionate feel, specially when you throw in your rasgeuo there is a clear haunting sound coming from the basses, with that traditional raspy sound from the trebles. The instrument's top has a beautiful orange-look that just appears so appealing to the eye with the slightly reddish tinted dark indian rosewood on the sides, that has this gorgeous light wood trim. I have not yet lowered the bridge saddle for less action, but I wouldn't care about that because the action already feels like there's nothing there getting in your way. This was probably the best decision I've made.
