Overview

The Cordoba Dolce 7/8 Size Classical guitar features a solid cedar top and mahogany back and sides for a rich, sweet tone. The Dolce has a comfortable neck with low action made out of Spanish cedar with an ebony fingerboard. The slightly smaller body size makes the Dolce ideal for female guitarists or younger students. Aesthetic appointments include a rosewood headstock overlay, a diamond patterned wood marquetry rosette, and gold plated tuners with pearloid buttons. Cordoba guitars are handmade in Spain by the same luthiers who have built instruments for the world-famous Gipsy Kings. the right guitar

Comments about Cordoba Dolce 7/8 Size Classical Guitar:

After trying several guitars to that would allow me to continue to play with my aging arthritic hands I chose the Cordoba 7/8. The action is good and eases the stress on my hands. The guitar itself has great deep tone and a class look.

Outstanding!!

By Jeff Smith

Comments about Cordoba Dolce 7/8 Size Classical Guitar:

I got the Cordoba Dolce guitar about a month ago. It is an outstanding guitar. Don't let the 7/8 size turn you off by thinking it won?t deliver a good sound. I have three other name brand nylon string guitars that are full size (standard size) and they all have solid cedar tops. I did a side by side sound test and to my surprise the Dolce has a louder volume and a much nicer tone than any of them, I kid you not!! The slighter smaller body is more comfortable to hold. The smaller nut-width of 50mm in comparison to the standard 52mm makes it easier to play and the 24.75? scale length which is the same scale length as Gibson electric guitars but, ?? shorter than the standard scale length on a classical guitar, is a joy for smaller hands like mine. The craftsman ship is flawless and the tuning keys keep the strings in tune for a long while. It comes with a padded gig bag which is a bit big for this guitar. It holds a standard size classical guitar in it comfortably. I?m thinking Cordoba Company decided not to design a perfect-size bag for this guitar in order to keep the cost down. I guess if the looseness bothers you, then you can line the bag with more soft foam padding. Cordoba website?s spec for this guitar says there are dot inlays on 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 12th frets but mine came with only three dots, on 5th, 7th and 9th fret. But that?s adequate for your fingers to find their way around on the fret board. I absolutely love this guitar. I bought this guitar on sale, but it?s also worth every penny of the regular price.
