cordoba custom artist spruce and madagascar rosewood classical guitar

By dentistguitarist

from forest hills, ny

This is a beautiful guitar. The madagascar back and sides look exotic. Lacquer finish was flawless. Intricate rosette looked great. Some minor gripes on the construction. The cedar neck and heel appeared to be made of three pieces of wood instead of one; seems like a cost cutting measure as opposed to a structural one.Small globs of excess glue can be seen inside the body-sloppy. The action was low; real easy to play. However this caused the bass strings to buzz. I fixed this by placing a bit of paper between the nut and three bass strings. this solved the problem. Beautiful sound; powerful with lasting sustain. I could grow to love this guitar, Looks and sounds great. Best guitar for the money that's not custom made.
