Comments about Cordoba C7-CE SP/IN Acoustic-Electric Nylon String Classical Guitar:
I own it and have played the cedar topped same guitar (they cost the same). Two of the cedar topped ones are at a local store and neither is as good as mine in spruce top. It's guitar by guitar, but spruce does get better over time and cedar is pretty much what it is going to be in the first months. so buy the one that sounds best to you and that you can live with. They have a good pickup with fixed position microphone and blender to add in the undersaddle pickup. Good sound plugged in. The spruce topped one is better acoustically, in my view. But neither is shabby, and used I fgound one nearly like new. No case, but a cordura clad hard foam one (like from Kayces) is a good choice. I have owned and still own two concert caliber guitars (classical and flamenco). They beat the Cordoba but cost at least 4 times the price! For most folks, this Cordoba is plenty of guitar and the Gipsy Kings Studio is not the equal of the C7CE, in my view. The C5CE is OK, but pay a bit more for the C7 series.
