The Cordoba 45 Limited brings another exciting exotic wood choice to the brand’s Spanish-made España Series. The solid European spruce top and black-and-white ebony back and sides of the 45 Limited combine to bring a modern spin to a classic Spanish design. Black and white ebony is not only one of the most unique and visually striking woods available from Cordoba, but also compliments the familiar detail and focus of a European spruce top with surprisingly robust bass response and sustain.
Other premium features include a black and white ebony headplate and heelcap, ebony fingerboard, dual action truss rod, bone nut and saddle, Cordoba Premium gold plated tuning machines, and Savarez strings. A Humicase Protégé humidified wood case is included.

Comments about Cordoba 45 Limited Nylon String Guitar:
So far I love this instrument. As expected from Cordoba: beautiful craftsmanship and use of FCS certified materials. I ran a quick frequency analysis comparison between the 45 LTD and my Taylor 214ce DLX; the low to mid-mid range (~80-220hz) response of the 45 was about 15% greater than the 214ce with similar gains in sustain. The 214ce has a significant response kick in the upper range -- as can be expected when comparing steel and nylon instruments. Overall, the balance between low and upper range on the 45 is excellent as I don't have to vary my plucking strength on the high strings in order to produce similar volume across an arpeggiation. Although extremely warm, brightness ban be induced through tweeks in plucking technique (and employment of properly shaped nails).
The action on the 45 LTD is slightly higher than on some Cordobas I've played over the years, but not prohibitively so. I'm contemplating buying a few additional saddles to shape and experiment with to see if I can drop the low E by as much as 1mm (but likely less), which would suite my playing style a bit better. My other option is making an "adjustable saddle" which is longer than the bridge groove it sets in, has a slighter gradient, and can be slid up or down to adjust the action. However, the action is not prohibitively high; as quick, complex, fingerings are still easily achievable.
All in all I absolutely love this instrument and dread having to put it down when I go to work. If you're a fan of warm, bassy, guitars with exotic materials, I'd absolutely recommend picking this up. It may not be absolutely perfect, but given the price range and my only minor quibble being something that I can likely adjust to my preference, I'm extremely happy with this guitar.
