Looks good but bad intonation

I don't know if all of these Cordobas have this problem, but the one I bought had bad intonation as I got higher on the neck. Also, it did not come with the Humicase that was supposed to be included under features. It would be a great guitar if the luthier had set it up properly. There is no way to fix the intonation once it has been finished. Since it won't stay in tune up the neck, every other good thing about it doesn't matter. Also, since that case isn't included, then why is it still listed as being included. I sent the guitar back after several days when I was sure that the intonation was bad and was told that the case wasn't included. That's what made my rating 0.5 worst.

Great guitar!

I didn't purchase this guitar(didn't have the $$$), but I love it. The sound is warm and balanced. The neck feels comfortable and it looks elegant. The craftsmanship can't be beat. If I had the money, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Cordoba Koa CE

I just purchased the Cordoba Koa CE. I found some intonation problems but I just flipped the saddle and changed to high tension strings and BINGO intonation problems cured. The workmanship is excellent, as is the over-all design. The electronics work pretty well. I couldn't be happier with a classical guitar than I am with the Cordoba Koa CE.

Beautiful koa, warm overtones

I've been playing this guitar since Christmas 2007, and I couldn't be happier. I play mostly in dropped bass tunings (like Hawaiian slack-key C-Wahine or Taro Patch), and the solid koa lends warm overtones that give the music great depth and presence. The guitar plays well up and down the neck, and sounds great unplugged and even better plugged in, even with an inexpensive acoustic amp. A great value for a well-made guitar with solid tone woods. Nice looking, too.
