The Cordoba Fusion 14 is a crossover nylon-string acoutic-electric guitar for steel-string and electric guitar players looking for that warm, nylon-string classical guitar sound. Cordoba's Fusion is the first guitar to merge the acoustic bracing and tone of traditional nylon-string guitars with the thinner neck and fast action of steel string guitars. The 14-fret neck-to-body construction with thin neck and radiused fingerboard provides easy playing for players used to steel strings and electric guitars. The Cordoba Fusion 14 also includes a HumiCase Protégé case.
This maple crossover is a great performing companion to my Taylor 614. It has a very playable neck like a steel string without the traditional width of a classical. I have more expensive classicals but this is the one I perform with because I can play a broader range of songs with it. You will probably be amazed at the BBand under top transducer (besides the under saddle), it sounds like a microphone only without the feedback. I usually put in my own pickups without doing any hole cutting in a nice guitar, but at this price, sound and overall quality I'm a happy guy. The hard case is also much better than expected, its not a cheap flimsy case. If you are looking for an affordable nylon string guitar that plays like a well set up steel string then give it a try. Adjustable truss rod too!
