    Mine has a solid spruce top and a very good tone. Made(well) in China. Construction is neatly done with good finish. Playability (fretting) is surprisingly easy/good for a classical in this price range. Highly recommended.

  • Great guitar for the price, poor workmanship though

    We bought this guitar for our kids about six month ago. Its a great guitar for the beginners and performs very well for the price. Yesterday, however, the bridge came off completely. The guitar was used by our kids for their lessons and was handled with great care. When I took it to the local repair shop, they showed us that the recessed place on the body where the bridge was attached is smaller in size than the bridge itself. It was simply glued on top without the proper grip, and was holding on only around the edges. They have to cut the wood to the proper size to fit the bridge perfectly so it has a full surface contact (as it was supposed to be done to begin with). They gave us a very reasonable price just because we personally know them, but when I called other places (including the local Guitar Center) - the estimate for such repair ranged from $100 to $150 for a $200 guitar...I was also reluctant to handle it trough Cordoba as I am sure they would just paste the part back where it was without the proper work done. The bottom line is - this is a great guitar, just examine it VERY CLOSELY once received, and probably buy the store warranty as well (which we didn't do) in addition to the included limited manufacturer warranty for some unexpected repairs.

  • THE RIGHT GUITAR FOR THE RIGHT PRICE

    Whether it's your first guitar, or just looking for a travel piece, this starter pack is an awesome value! I got this set to pack along with me on trips, but it's quickly turning into one of my favorite guitars. The resonance is not as loud as some of the high-end classical guitars, but the solid cedar top provides a nice tone, and the playability is just right. I highly recommend this pack.
