  • LOVE Cordoba!!!

As reviewed by Richard on 6/13/2014

We spent considerable time researching classical guitars. We played various brands at multiple stores, played several we found used on Craigslist. And we always came back to the deep rich sound offered by the Cordoba brand. We decided on a C9 because of it's deep rich sound and affordability. We bought new from Guitar Center because they are our "go-to" music store due to their knowledge and the savings they offer. Buy a Cordoba. You WILL be happy!

  • Good workmanship for reasonable price

As reviewed by Cummins Lue on 3/11/2014

Right out of the shipping case, the guitar was easy to tune and sounded clean and full. Playability is good due to the C shaped neck profile while maintaining the traditional 52mm nut width. It come strung with Suarez nylon strings. The mother-of-pearl rosette and Spruce top are visually pleasing. The light weight built makes holding it in the classical position comfortable. The finish is evenly applied. The sound is suited for Classical and Mediterranean types of music.

  • Rich sound

As reviewed by Cummins Lue on 4/24/2014

The C9 Spruce has a rich sound right out of the box, particularly on the bass strings. The thinner neck profile improves playability even when classical pieces require stretching over 5 frets. The finish is not too thick yet evenly applied. The guitar is overall light in weight and comfortable when held in the classical position. The neck and Spanish heel show good workmanship. It comes with Savarez nylon strings. This guitar is suited for many types of music including Classical, Bossa Nova, and Jazz.
