  • Boutique nylon/classical guitar at affordable price that rivals the expensive!

As reviewed by Jonny on 3/15/2011

I tried about 8 different nylons after deciding to upgrade from my La Patrie, which I liked, and which I had for over 10 years, but wanted something new and better. I compared to 600 dollar Yamaha, a 1000 dollar Taylor, 600 dollar Manuel Rodriguez, and others, and this one blew me away. I even prefer it to some of the Martin acoustic I have tried that are over 2000-3000 dollars. Well-constructed, beautiful finish, playabilty, great low action, crisp and well rounded town. Great sound pickup. Also, they have a great lifetime warranty by buying a humicase guitar case. They have great customer service that replies promptly, and will send you a free set of strings for writing a review. I tried 2 or 3 Cordobas also before buying mine, all of the same model type. I suggest you try different guitars of different brands to find what works for you, but definitely recommend this one!

  • Good Guitar at a Great Price

As reviewed by Brian on 5/6/2011

As a foree into my first nylon string "classical" guitar, I was really impressed with the sound, action, tone and playability for the price. I tried a number of others at GuitarCenter up to the $600 price range and frankly found the Cordoba C5-CE the most versatile and comfortable. Kudos on nice product for a nice price. It's fun and a treat to play.
