Overview

The Conn "CONNstellation" 52BSP Bb trumpet is designed as a professional instrument but is positioned as intermediate. The .462" large bore, reverse leadpipe construction, and single radius main tuning slide combine to produce a very open free-blowing feel. The seamless 4-7/8" yellow brass bell provides great projection and control. The professional Monel piston material provides smooth and quick action. The 1st valve thumb saddle allows for easy intonation adjustments. The patented Modular Valve Weight (MLW) system gives the player a choice in response and feel. The silver-plate finish provides a controlled brilliance to the overall sound. The Conn 52BSP is one of the most versatile trumpets available today.

Comments about 52BSP CONNstellation Series Bb Trumpet:

I brought this horn about 4 days ago and got it yesterday. I played this horn almost all day and it is Fantastic! This has truly got to be the absolute best trumpet that you can buy. The horn is very responsive, easy to play, and very very well constructed. The Monel valves are extremely responsive and very smooth. The Modular Valve Weight System is surprisingly very helpful. This system reduces vibrations and darken the tones of certain notes. I would recommend this trumpet to anyone that is looking at a professional trumpet but does not want to pay the price of a Strad. because this horn plays even with a Strad if not out performing one.

Great Professional B Flat Trumpet for the $

    By Mike Diliberto

    from Buffalo, NY

Comments about 52BSP CONNstellation Series Bb Trumpet:

Great sound to this silver plated cornet. Slides glide easy and valves have great response and feel. Only knock is that a standard Conn case came with cornet. Would like to see a better case with product. Limited room in case for accessories.

    Review

Comments about 52BSP CONNstellation Series Bb Trumpet:

I used to play on a bach strad 37. I saw the older model of this horn on ebay, the king legend and bought it for a steal price. Trust me, I was amazed by it. I love it's nice warm, dark and big sound, perfect for mariachi, which I play. I like the engraving it has, and the reverse tunning slide it cool. And the metal is really think. I must've bang it a few times already, at it doens't even have any dings. One thing though you have to get used to the valve buttons sice they're a little on the big side. Also, the valves were a little stiff when I got it, my guess since it is a little old. (Bout over ten years). Also the main tunning slide came apart too, (that must've happened durring the shipping), but I got that fixed. No biggy. It still has a awsome sound. Overall, I love this horn and I prefer it over my strad. I still play on the strad, but it still don't produce the sound my king has. Like I said, over all great horn I highly recomend any one that looking for a dark sounding trumpet.
