Cleartone Coated Acoustic Bluegrass Guitar Strings feature a light top/heavy bottom configuration with gauges 12-16-25-36-46-56. Approved by bluegrass studio musicians for high-frequency clarity with the light strings, and low-frequency "thump" for the lower strings.
This bluegrass set also features a unique treatment called EMP that coats the entire string with an ultrathin protective film. It's the thinnest coating ever applied to guitar strings (less than one micron!) and will withstand more abuse from hard strumming than coatings 1000 times thicker! EMP ensures longer string life by protecting strings from corrosion due to skin acidity, salt, and moisture without compromising feel and sound.
Cleartone Acoustic Strings feature the finest phosphor bronze available for the warmest and brightest resonance on acoustic guitars. Super-high tension winding over a hex-core is used to maintain tuning consistency throughout performance duration.

Comments about Cleartone Coated Phosphor-Bronze Bluegrass Acoustic Guitar Strings:
When I slapped these on my guitar they sounded ok. The coating that they use was not as good as Elixirs coating and didn't last as long. My set lasted about 2 months before rust started showing up. It might be because my fingers are a bit more acidic, if you want to try them they have a good sound but id rather use elixirs polyweb coated strings. Cleartone has good string but id rather use them in my electric.
