Chauvet has packed a lot in the compact Q-Spot 300 moving yoke spot, starting with a color wheel offering 7 colors + white that can rainbow color spin at variable speeds. Then there are two gobo wheels: a static gobo wheel with 4 interchangeable, slot-n-lock gobos+open, 2 CT filters (3200° & 5000°), and an indexed rotating gobo wheel with 5 interchangeable gobos that spin at variable speeds. Each of these has the exclusive Gobo Bounce effect which, as the name suggests, gets the Gobo to bounce around in a pattern you can select.
Besides the built-in automated/sound-activated light programs and effect macros, there's a frost filter for color washing, a 3-facet, high-speed rotating prism that moves in both directions at variable speeds, and motorized focus and dimming. The 13- or 16-channel DMX-512 moving yoke light fixture has a range of 530° pan with 280° with automatic pan and tilt correction. It also has remote fixture reset, lamp on/off and vector speed control. The LCD display that supplies the bright lights is kept cool by fans so you can keep the party going till early in the morning.
