  • Q scan 250 Affordable Pro Light

As reviewed by David Shaw on 3/16/2009

I bought 4 of these lights and couldn't be happier !! There is absolutely no comparison between the 24 volt 250 watt quartz lamps and the MSD 250 watt metal halide lamps in these units. I would say these are 5 times brighter !! Just one look at them in action and you'll know these are "Pro lights". They cost a little more but WELL worth it. The moving yoke lights have a little more movement range but when used at the back of the stage for beam effect, you don't need that much range. These have more than enough range for that. The advantage of scanners is that they are much faster than the moving yoke and cost much less. Again, very happy with these lights !!
