Like it's little brother, the LX5, this moonflower effect fixture features 57 ultrabright LEDs (17 red, 24 green, 16 blue) that can be sound activated, static (motors only), or left on automatic. This is a nice light for the money. Very solid but not over sized. The bulbs will surely outlast the mirror motor. I am using 2 of these, on constantly, so as I cycle throught my old fashioned bulb units I have a nice fill.
It's a nice product. Bright lights, sturdy, and fun. The power cord is only a 2 or 3 feet long, so plan accordingly. I've got a studio in the basement where the kids play and dance to music. Can't wait to see how it looks with the fog machine. Should be fun.
Really happy with the 2 units. Though not super bright, it sure does make an impact. The sound active mode has good sweeping coverage. Appears brighter with fog, shows well upon the crowd on the floor. It really added energy to the floor. I just wish they were linkable. I will most likely get 2 more. Good entry LED lights, especially for the cost.
