I purchased the Chauvet 400g follow spot on line from Guitar Center two weeks ago. When I received it, I, like a kid at Christmas was very exited to put it together and give a test run. The first ten minutes were very exciting. After that, no joy. The color wheel started skipping through the colors. Very disapointing. The dual focus sliders don't slide. They get jammed on the sheet metal casing. I did some checking on line and it appears this is a common problem. I called Chauvet with my complaints and they sent me to the Guitar Center in West Palm to begin the return "process". What a process indeed. That's a story for another time. I learned many years ago that you get what you pay for. The Chauvet 400G is a prime example. In hind site, I wish I had waited till I had a couple of hundred more and bought a "real" follow spot.
