Bought 2 for bar gigs. We previously used 8 PAR 56's with 250 watt bulbs. I will say right off the 4 BAR led lamps are not as bright, when you put 1 led lamp against 1 PAR lamp. But, with the 4BAR mixing colors, you can have different scenes with all 8 lamps on all the time, so the overall light level on the stage is quite bright. Love the cold operation and compact size. I recommend this system, but they could have done better with the internal programs. I imagine there will be a "next rev" to improve that.
Was looking for something small and portable to replace my old setup. This did the trick very well. Used at quite a few gigs now with no problems. Compared it to the ADJ alternative and this definately seemed to be the better option in both build quality and brightness. Its definately not a piece of gear you want to abuse (like others have been saying) but if you treat it right it wont give you any problems.
Got this light almost a year ago when it came out. Still to this day have not had any problems with it. Works great for small to mid size events.
I have a Chauvet 4Play on order. Can't wait.
Would highly recommend this light to anyone looking for an easy setup, and a bright light.
