This 10" 60W ceramic magnet speaker has been voiced to produce the unmistakable Celestion vintage tones. Pushed hard it has plenty of growl and performs with very solid bass, muscular mids, and an extremely articulate top end. In addition, the G10 Vintage employs a 1.75" round copper voice coil, has a frequency range of 100-5500Hz, and sensitivity of 97dB (1W @ 1m). Golden sand finish.
The G10 Vintage is the natural evolution of the well-respected Vintage 10. Closer to the sound of the Vintage 30 than its predecessor, the G10 Vintage still maintains a distinctive tonal flavor of its own. All of these speakers use the same voice coil designs and similar ceramic magnet structures to achieve their familiar, hard-rocking Celestion sound.

I put these speakers in a 2x10'' cab that i built and it brought it to life. I have a Marshall MG100FX head and this speaker really brought out that vintage Marshall tone with a little more punch. This speaker is perfect when playing clean and even better when over driven. It packs a punch for a 10''. This speaker is grate in any amp.
I have a Fender Supersonic and a Hot Rod Deville. My wife hated me leaving them out all the time in my music room/ our den. To solve that, and meet her "decorating" demands, I decided to get innovative. I bought an antique round brass radio speaker enclosure [12x12,open back], gutted it and put in the G-10. I bought a small head that fits under an end table, out of sight. Now, when I finish practicing, I unplug my guitar, and there's no evidence I was there. I was very surprised at the sound quality of the speaker in a metal housing. It sounds great. I plan on making another so I can have the 2x12 groove in my den.
I bought this speaker to replace the stock Jensen in my Fender Super Champ XD. What a difference. The amp sounds much bigger
I wanted to build an xtension cabinet that could sit on top of my 112 combo tube amp. I was afraid a 1 x 12" cab would tip over. I was also afraid that no 1 x 10" speaker would be powerful or full enough to pair up with the 12" in the amp. To make a long story short, this little 10" sounds xclnt, full, and has the Celestion tight texture that you've heard a million times from their Vintage 12's. It's that Marshall sound in a compact package, especially in a batted closed-back 1 x 10" MUTT XTENSION CAB. Since I added this to my rig, I've found out that tons of pros use mismatched speaker sizes to give their amps a fuller and more dynamic sound--I'm stolked. SERIOUSLY CONSIDER THIS SPEAKER.
