Designed to deliver maximum response and classic tone, this is an impressive speaker.
I bought this to replace the stock speaker in a Crate V5. Works perfectly, very balanced tone from the speakers and with only 5 watts pushing it there simply is no speaker distortion. While speaker distortion can be pleasing, I'll admit; I was looking for something to translate the sound without adding anything, and this fit the bill perfectly. The G10 Vintage will probably be somewhat better, especially in other applications, but for me, this does just fine at half the price. As a side note, nothing muddy about this speaker, its clear as a bell, and well constructed. Also, its quite small depth wise so it will likely fit most cabinets out there
This is the same speaker that vox put in its AC4TV, Its not a bad little speaker, but it can be very muddy at times.
Just to put it in few words JUNK MUDDY lows Boomie and Highs that hurt your ears not in a good way either. I got 4 of them. I can not even use this amp do to the tone of the speakers. Change the tubes, same thing these speakes are junk..
