The G12K-100 is Celestion's premium 100W driver featuring the heaviest G12 magnet currently in use. It combines substantial power handling with exceptional sensitivity, detail, and clarity. Its frequency response is awesome, and the Celestion K-100 has, without doubt, the biggest bottom of any G12. It's the king speaker for metal and down-tuners will especially love its aggressive grind. 8 ohms.
I have a Fender Ultra Chorus amp that I purchased new in 1993. I replaced the original fender/ eminence speakers with these G12K-100's. It sounds absolutely amazing. The tone is incredible, and it my leads cut through anything. It sounds like a completely different amp. I have put my amp up against other amps costing three times as much, and it definitely holds it's own. I have recorded all over the country with this amp, and the sound I get speaks for itself.
This is a nice loud full sounding speaker, with a sparkle on the high end. I just did a big concert and the sound man said he loved it.
