Detailed and warm cleans with plenty of British grind.

  • Mod Super Champ XD

As reviewed by Shedrick Garrett on 2/21/2012

I put the Celestion 10N-40-30W in my Super Champ XD to get a over all warm sound,The speaker did what I hope it would do,The bass sound gave beefie low tunes, the mid's were a meaty warm, and the high's-lets just say bright with attitude.

  • Worth the wait

As reviewed by Richard on 4/25/2011

I have this in an Orange AD-5. It sounds awesome! It is articulare and sounds best playing for a clean sound. One serious concern about the speaker is that it has the longest break-in time of any speaker that I've ever seen. It starts to mellow out around 40-50 hours. Around 60 hours, it gets to beautiful bell-like tone. This speaker is worth the wait, but patience is important.
