The little brother of the Vintage 30. Need we say more?

This 10" 60W ceramic magnet speaker has been voiced to produce the unmistakable Celestion vintage tones. Pushed hard it has plenty of growl and performs with very solid bass, muscular mids, and an extremely articulate top end. In addition, the G10 Vintage employs a 1.75" round copper voice coil, has a frequency range of 100-5500Hz, and sensitivity of 97dB (1W @ 1m). Golden sand finish. The G10 Vintage is the natural evolution of the well-respected Vintage 10. Closer to the sound of the Vintage 30 than its predecessor, the G10 Vintage still maintains a distinctive tonal flavor of its own. All of these speakers use the same voice coil designs and similar ceramic magnet structures to achieve their familiar, hard-rocking Celestion sound.

  • DYNAMITE IN SMALL PACKAGE

As reviewed by Tony Padilla on 2/11/2008

I wanted to build an xtension cabinet that could sit on top of my 112 combo tube amp. I was afraid a 1 x 12" cab would tip over. I was also afraid that no 1 x 10" speaker would be powerful or full enough to pair up with the 12" in the amp. To make a long story short, this little 10" sounds xclnt, full, and has the Celestion tight texture that you've heard a million times from their Vintage 12's. It's that Marshall sound in a compact package, especially in a batted closed-back 1 x 10" MUTT XTENSION CAB. Since I added this to my rig, I've found out that tons of pros use mismatched speaker sizes to give their amps a fuller and more dynamic sound--I'm stolked. SERIOUSLY CONSIDER THIS SPEAKER.

I bought this speaker to replace the stock Jensen in my Fender Super Champ XD. What a difference. The amp sounds much bigger

  • This speaker rocks!!!

As reviewed by deney on 5/29/2008

These speakers sound fantastic! Great highs, mid, lows, they can handle the job. I put four of them in my old 4 x 10 Marshall cabinet and WOW! I turned my 50 watt Marshall tube amp up all the way, and I couldn't believe they handled the power, and didn't crap out. It sounds just as good as my other cabinet with 2 x 12" vintage 30's. I played clean, classic rock --- and metal, and they performed perfect. If you are thinking about buying these speakers, do it. It is worth the bucks.
