I bought this software thinking I'd get true Melodyne, and I was wrong! This software is nothing like the advanced Melodyne! I am very dissatisfied with this product and am seriously considering returning it and buying the Melodyne editor or Autotune.
This is NOT the full blown version for much much more. It is a must have in your tool kit and is the right price for your home studio.
What it does:
Works as a stand alone product OR,
Works as a plugin to you DAW,
Listens to your MONO track and puts each note in an editor that you can then manipulate the pitch (pitch correct), time (tempo) and length,
Copy those notes and paste them to new notes creating a harmony lines,
AND not really listed: VIEW your vocal performance which allows you to visually learn how you are performing.
What it does NOT DO!
The full version allows you to "tweak" the vibrato much more for example, if you had a singer with a wide vibrato, you could flatten that out.
The full version allows you to export notes to midi so, you could sing (or play notes) and then export that to midi and use your built in synth to play those notes.
This version is the basic version. If you have no "auto-tune" this is a MUST have, and after trying many other competitors, this one sounds the most natural.
