In my opinion, Casio PX110 is a great deal on a piano with the quality, tone, and features. What sold me most was the hammer action keys. The sound of the speakers was an added suprise. If you want the full tones of the notes to come out though, I would use a set of headphones. I bought a Logitech regular set of headphones. It helps you focus on your music while at the same time being parent friendly. This piano is great for intermediate level pianists.
If you want a great sounding light weight weighted keyboard, this is it. The first time I played it I was sold. The sounds are great plus has a couple rhythms, internal speakers and a midi out. For something basic this has all you need.
Right out of the box, this digital piano is like a dream come true. The sound of the bass reflex speakers, the feel of the weighted keys, amd its ease of use makes this unit a must buy. I also like the fact in came with a book of sheet music -all classical, though. No jazz, pop, rock, or blues. It would've been nice if this unit had a modulation wheel. Still, as a midi controller, it works perfectly. I can't rave enough about the piano sound. It's so real. The reverb is also crystal clear.
This keyboard really impresses me. I've had it for about 5 months now, and it still delivers the goods every time. This board is great for a first digital piano for practicing on or for use in a rock band setting, both of which I use it for. The piano sound is really good, the action is great, and its a good deal all around.
