Worked like a charm!

By Jennette

from Dayton, OH

Comments about Casio AD-12 12V Adapter:

Guitar Center shipped me this adapter after my Casio CDP-100 digital piano arrived with a power adapter that was DOA. At first, GC shipped me a generic adapter that was about $10 cheaper. It didn't work - the socket wasn't even the same. So I called back, and they shipped me this one. Even though the CDP-100 was not specifically listed as a compatible device, the adapter fit and worked perfectly!

How I feel

By JRB

from MN.

Comments about Casio AD-12 12V Adapter:

I"ve never been a fan of power adaptors, but this one works pretty well on the first try. It's light and gives the piano a little extra room to manuever because the chord is longer than the old adaptor. I'm not sure if I'll like the two pieces until I work with it for awhile, but it seems like it may be a good improvement. Still, I really wish Casio would just find a way to make its keyboard available to a universal adaptor, or better yet, find a way to place the power mechanism in the keybaord itself like high end pianos, so I do not have to worry about losing it, finding it. or breaking the thin wire connector on the job. Sorry Casio: that's how I really feel, if you want to print it. P.S. But hey, I love the sound of the board for its cost, it's lighness, and durability.
