Legendary drummer Carl Palmer, known for his influential catalog of work with Emerson, Lake & Palmer and Asia, created "Spectral Surgery" through the new medium of capturing rhythmic performance and putting it to canvas in a debut collection called "Twist of the Wrist."
From within the captured rhythm, viewers can see into a new dimension - moving from abstract to literal interpretation. For many, "Spectral Surgery" hints of a skull being pierced by a stake (the blue area), while others see the skeletal frame of a reptile (the center portion).
