Best Overdrive Out There

By Brett

from Nashville, TN

This pedal is amazing. About 2 years ago I was looking for an overdrive pedal and spent weeks traveling to stores and playing through pedals from Fulltone, Boss, Radial Engineering, Pro Co, Seymour Duncan, Ibanez, MXR, Electro Harmonix, Vox, and the list goes on. I was about to give up when I found this pedal. The MK3 is forever my #1 overdrive pedal because: - It doesn't cover up my guitar tone - It sounds like a tube amp and can be driven from slight tube breakup to full out tube roar - There is NO connection noise - You dont have to engage the Drive to engage the Boost, therefore you can use it to boost the volume from other pedals or your amp (None of the other pedals I tested allowed this) - The Wave dial lets you add more mid-upper end to get that crunchier sound I honestly would have never considered paying this much for a pedal, it was worth every dime. This is that last overdrive pedal you will ever want, period.

Great Product!

By Dale

from Hillsborough, N.J.

I like the sound you get from this pedal. The Boost feature is useful for boost while soloing. I can hear the little octave thing going on, which makes it different from a Tube Screamer. One thing worth mentioning, you need 110 volts A.C. for this pedal, 9 volts does not run it. This pedal comes with an electrical cord attached to it, with an integral 12 volt transformer. The boost feature also will boost other pedals in your pedal chain. Nice drive sound for Rock or Blues.
