I looked around for a drum set for about a month and decided to go with this one. I have a 3 year old and I didn't want to get a set that was to big. Everything was delivered very quickly. The color was the same as the picture shown and the assembly was very simple. It took me about 30 minutes to put it together. If you are looking for something for your child to practice on for a few years this would be a great starter set. I have an 8 year old boy, 6 year old girl, 3 year old boy and a baby and all of them have been playing on this, well except for the baby. For the price this is probably one of the more durable sets out there. I hope you all enjoy as much as we do.
I thought this was a joke at first, but after I played it... I changed my mind. I've been playing drums for 37 years and this kit is awesome. I own a dw, a pearl masters, and this cannon set.. It's hard for me to pick a favorite. This is a GREAT buy for all drummers and it's great for traveling. I've played 8 show with this kit so far. People think is a joke, but that changes after they hear me and the drums... I'll would pay 10 times the amount for this drum set!!!!
THIS SET IS THE BEST SET I HAVE EVER PLAYED ON THE HEADS CYMBALD AND EVERYTHING ARE FREAKING AWESOME I PUT A DOUBLE BASS ON THIS THING AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME
this set is OK except that the throne is proportional to the set, it's too tall. Also, the snare stand breaks immediately upon a 3 yr old placing their hands on the snare (to keep themselves from falling off the too-tall throne) Take measures to reinforce the snare stand, take a hack saw to the throne post (just remove the screw, but carefull, even out of the box there are sharp edges on this thing, don't let them play with it only sit on it..) and you've got the only commercially avaialable set your 1-3 year old can play. My 16 month old rocks the HOUSE out on this set. (I fabricated a high hat stand, using 6" first act cymbals, and replaced the stock cymbal with a name brand splash)
pretty apple red set makes a big noise for little kids. MISSING IMPORTANT PARTS! - i.e., the pegs that keep it from rolling over every time you hit it. Improvised with wingnuts. Much better than a plastic toy - good for hand-me-down applications as drums are very sturdy. best for kids 46" and under.
I love this little drum and so does my four year old, he just got it for Christmas. It is a lot more durable than the former toy drum sets we purchased for him. It looks very much like the drums he sees at church and he just loves it. I was amazed at how they packaged the entire thing in one little box. The box doesn't say that the throne is inside, but it is. The instructions were horrible! If you didn't know about drums, it would be very hard to put this thing together. Other than that, the drum is a perfect fit for him, he is a small four year old. I wouldn't recommend this drum for anyone older than like six, it is a MINI set. It was a good price and overall I'm happy we got it. Be sure to buy ear plugs or headphones, it is super loud!!!!!
