Not great

By Geoff Sullivan _

from Indy

This is a bad percusion instrument and a worse tambourine. That being said, I bought this as a toy for my 2 year old daughter - and for that - it is fine. It gets its best sound if you beat it w/ wooden mallets, but I doubt it will take a lot of that. I was hoping for more, but it was cheap and I did buy it as a toy. For stage or any actual musical use - look elsewhere.
