Cakewalk UA-25EX USB Audio Interface is alright. If I have money, I'll perfer a power interface than a USB Interface because sometimes USB gets very crazy and it doesn't quite work sometimes and it's easily broken. However, the UA-25ex will be a good experiment to those rookies who find interested in recording music.
I'm very satisfied with this audio interface. I recommend the UA-25EX over M-Audio any day. Top notch studio quality 24 bit 96 khz. Easy install and ready to go. very portable and durable not that cheap plastic crap. this unit is made of all metal and can survive hard impacts. Has many features. It has digital Ins and Outs which the Pre Sonus Audio box doesn't have.
Love it. I bought a new high end Dell computer with a supposedly high end sound card and spent several hours trying to make it work with Sonar 8.5. I decided to purchase the Cakewalk UA-25EX. It took about 10 - 15 minutes to hook it up and I was recording. I highly recommend this audio interface. Extremely low latency and very easy setup. Wish I would have bought this months ago.
