I don't know if it's the terrible instruction manual or what, but 4 people for the life of us could not figure out how to get the lights to stay on. All we seemed to be able to do was use the auto settings that had them blinking in different ways. All we wanted them to do was come on and stay on. I would think that would be the first thing they did.
