Cleaner and lubricant for conductive plastic faders and controls.

DeoxIT FaderLube precision lubricant spray is specifically formulated to improve conductivity and lubricate conductive plastic and carbon compound faders, switches, and other similar components. Over time these components lose their original lubrication from wear or repeated cleaning. Dust, dirt, drink spills, and other contamination also degrade electrical components' lubricant. Re-lubrication with DeoxIT FaderLube prevents excess wear and abrasion to plastic surfaces.

FaderLube also is effective on conductive membrane switches and components. Oil, grease, and acids that build up on the membrane surfaces due to repeated finger contact can lead to device malfunction. Applying DeoxIT FaderLube provides a long-lasting barrier against contamination. The oil, grease, and acids are displaced above the DeoxIT FaderLube layer, preventing contact with the plastic membrane.

Other uses of DeoxIT FaderLube include: lubrication and protection of plastic-to-plastic parts (faders), plastic-to-metal parts (faders, linear sliders, dot matrix printers), metal-to-metal parts (sliding and slow rotating metal parts, locks, bearings), carbon-based controls (potentiometers) and membrane switches (mouse pointers, touch keypads).

  • Done in 5!

As reviewed by Wayne Miller on 6/4/2009

I have an old Yamaha PM-700 mixer from the 70's. The faders we're difficult to move and use. I wiped them down and squirted Deoxit on them per the manufacturers recommendation. Then I slid the faders to spread the Deoxit. In 5 minutes all the faders work like new. Now they move very smoothly and effortlessly. Thanks!

  • DeoxiT FaderLube renewed the Slider Bars

As reviewed by Rogers on 6/29/2009

The Slider Bars on my old Hammond were losing contact and making static. DeoxiT fixed it with one application. Guitarcenter has the 5 oz product for less price. Don't bother with the 2 oz can that other companies offer for twice the price.

  • Saved me a ton of $$$!!!

As reviewed by Happ E. Customer on 7/1/2011

So last month, I scored a vintage Roland Jazz Chorus 120 amplifier. Yeah, that one. EPIC, SPACIOUS, and LUSH STEREO CHORUS. Did I mention it was from 1979? So naturally there were a couple of things wrong with it but once I replaced the power plug and wired the speakers, she came alive! One thing though, a couple of the pots were scratchy and the values werent correct. What i mean is that one of the volume knobs would still leak sound while at "0". Another thing, when I would turn on the amp, there was this huge popping sound that was very scary due to this amp's power. A couple of sprays of Deoxit on all pots and connections, a few wiggles here and there, and now I am swimming in liquidy stereo chorus without the slightest noise. All problems, even the popping sound were gone. I thought I had a ground problem but no. Here's a hint: if you hit your amplifier and it makes noise that it shouldn't, something is loose or corroded. This helps greatly.
