This product brought 2 vintage amps (Mesa Mark III & Carvin Mosfet x-100) back from the junk pile. Both had really bad problems with potentiometers (vol/tone controls). I was getting fading...volumes and tones would JUMP all of a sudden for no reason...scratchy...ornery. No messing around, I just removed the knobs and dripped a drop or two on the pot shaft where it goes into the housing. I leaned the amp back a little and worked control...min/max about 10 times, then finished off with spray contact cleaner. No damage to either amps' plastic parts and was playing both within 1/2 hour after cleaning. Both only seem to be getting better with use. Needle injector is convenient because there is very little mess. (very little wasted too...at $24.00 a bottle there better be no waste) I had a hard time threading the injector on the bottle but after a few tries I got it on good and tight. Needed slight wipe-down after spray contact cleaner. Now on both amps, jump and scratchiness are gone, controls feel tighter and smoother and I am confident to use either at shows. Quick cheap easy fix that doesn't take a Phd. Works nicely cleaning corroded Edge tremolo copper-based parts too. (to get green stuff off)
